Kevin Watt signs new Airdrie contract

Airdrie United have been handed a boost with the news that teenage striker Kevin Watt has signed a contract extension with the club, which will keep him as an Airdrie United player until January 2010.

The youngster broke onto the scene this season, scoring his first goal for Airdrie at Hampden against Queen’s Park in a 4-2 Scottish Cup triumph, before following that up with a double against Peterhead.

Watt certainly looks a prospect and plays the game with a smile on his face, giving his all for the team and seeming to be genuinely grateful for being given the chance to play for Airdrie.

It’s a good bit of business for the club and congratulations to Kevin on earning his new contract.
