I do agree, I have not been impressed with Andreoni, but ultimately he is pretty much all that we have got until Holmes comes back so I think he’s going to be in the team tonight.

He has shown glimpses of potential from time to time, but overall he hasn’t been good enough thus far.

A well written report but have to disagree about McDonald.
Im going to hold my hand up and say I slate McDonald, 99% of time because I belive that he, along with Proctor, were mainly resposable for the Poor results in the Playoffs and as Loan players with nothing at stake should never have been playing. I think both felt that they were going back to Hibs and Dunndee Utd and couldn’t care Less … for me the Jury is still out on Kev.
As for him being “by far our best player” …. Dosser was our best player but we sold him only 3weeks ago.

Not sure about Andreoni, despite coming from Dundee Utd, he spent last season at Montrose and as far as I can tell hadn’t kicked a ball untill he came to us so it’s only natural that he’ll be off the pace coming from 3rd top 2nd division.

With the new lad from Rangers coming in he will give the defensive players something to think about, buit we still need a strong experienced midfielder.

I think that’s a good place to start. Queen’s Park impressed me in the last game as they have some good, hungry players with some pace and energy. I’m not saying to overload our team with guys like that as ultimately we are significatly better of in the league than they are, but we could do with 1-2 players of that mould to give us a better balance in my opinion.

Why doesn’t Kenny have a sniff around Queen’s Park for the likes of Trouten, Kettlewell, Cairney, Canning & Paton. They might be young but they’re quick and prepared to fight for the ball.

These guys are playing for zilch and as far as I can understand from someone close to the club the players are not happy about Stark leaving as promises were made and are unlikely to be kept!!!

Felt we sat back towards the end and invited Alloa pressure unnecessarily but it’s a good three points and keeps us in the hunt.
